An Arboretum’s Role in Conservation

October 8 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join Plant Records Coordinator, Hannah Hunt, to learn about Arboreta’s important role in the conservation world. Examine several case studies where trees that were almost lost forever were able to make a resurgence in the world of horticulture. Following the discussion, explore our 600-acre Arboretum on a guided tour to see rare, vulnerable, or endangered plants on the IUCN red list.

Bernheim members $15; Non-members $20

Registration required by 4 p.m. the day prior to the program. No pets, please. Call (502) 215-7155 to register or click the button below to register.
