Get Out and Hike Series: Introduction to Family Hiking

April 12, 1:00 – 3:00 meet in the Visitor Center.
Introduction to Hiking
Hiking with your family can create meaningful memories that last a lifetime. This is especially true when hikes are fun and full of discoveries.

Start your family hiking tradition on the right foot. Join Bernheim seasoned hikers and Volunteer Naturalists Larry Polley and Sandy Nafziger for the first in a series of hikes that illustrate tips for making the your family hikes fun, safe and rewarding. This hike will be approximately 1 hour discussion and 1 hour hiking.

What to Take along the Trail.
Leave No Trace Hiking

Fees $5 for Members, $8 for non members.

Members Family Fee: four or more $4 per person
Non Members Family fee. Four or more. $7 person.
