ECO Kids Discovery Day — Survival Strategies

CF11_discStatDon’t let the colder temps stop you and the kids from connecting with nature this weekend.  Come out to the Bernheim Visitor Center for ECO Kids Discovery Day on Saturday.  The theme is Survival Strategies because to survive cold weather, animals must migrate, hibernate, or stay active.  Kids and their families will have fun exploring these strategies through the day’s On Your Own Challenge and then exploring hands-on Discovery Stations and the Hike of the Day during the afternoon.  So come explore hands-on Discovery Stations, led by Volunteer Naturalists, in the Visitor Center from 1:00-4:00 P.M.   The On Your Own Challenge, a self-guided adventure, will be available at the Visitor Center from 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.  And the Hike of the Day, led by a Bernheim guide, starts at the Visitor Center at 2:00 P.M. and runs 45-60 minutes.
