Day Twenty Two

LITTLE NIS – Now that my sister has you thinking about nature superheroes, let’s go on a nature superhero hike!  On today’s walk, you can pretend that you have nature super powers (cape and costume optional, but recommended) and fight your archnemesis.  What superpowers do you have?  Can you pick up litter with your mind?  Can you shoot lasers of loving kindness out of your fingers?  Use your nature superpowers to make the world a better place as you enjoy your NATURE SUPERHERO HIKE!!

Dawn Redwood

MAMA LOUMARI – My children have wild imaginations.  Do you like to imagine things?  Sometimes while I am lying here under the redwoods, my mind drifts off into imagination land.  Today, after you’ve had all of your nature superhero adventures, find a nice quiet spot to breathe, relax, and let your imagination run wild while your body rests.  You can imagine what it would be like to be a bird flying over your neighborhood, or a worm, down in the deep, dark dirt.  You can imagine so many things, so set your imagination free!

LITTLE ELINA – As I’ve been relaxing by Lake Nevin working on my art, my mind sometimes wanders and I think about what it would be like to be a nature superhero.  Today would be a fun day to create your own nature superhero and to give it nature superpowers.  Will your hero jump far like a frog?  Can it fly like a robin?  Does it have supersonic hearing like a deer? Can you draw a picture of your superhero?  Can you find items around the house or in the woods to create a costume for you to dress up like a nature superhero?  Can you make a comic book about your nature superhero?
