Event Timing + Location

  • Why does CONNECT start at 6:36 p.m.?  CONNECT is designed around the magic of sunset, starting two hours before and continuing three hours after. When the day fades, night awakens, and Bernheim transforms into a glowing wonderland!
  • Is Bernheim open during the day?  On the day of CONNECT, Bernheim will be open to the public until 1:30 p.m. and reopens at 6 p.m. for the event. This allows time for event set-up and preparation. The forested areas of Bernheim, including Forest Hill Drive and the Hollow, will be closed for the entire day of the event.
  • Where is the event held? CONNECT takes place around Lake Nevin, a 32-acre lake with a 1.3-mile loop. The main entrances to the event are at the Sunset Amphitheater and the Garden Pavilion.
