Celebrate the fall season at ColorFest – a family favorite! Visitors can slingshot pumpkins, navigate the hay maze, make mud pies, and enjoy a hayride in the splendor of Bernheim’s colorful fall landscape. Other highlights include live music, hands-on nature activities, unique local foods, Kentucky arts and craft vendors, and more.
It’s that time of year again! ColorFest, Bernheim’s annual fall festival is this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 20 and Sunday, Oct. 21.
ColorFest is two days of affordable family fun surrounded by the spectacular beauty of fall at Bernheim. The corn pit and giant slides are back – and they’re bigger and better! Test your skills at the pumpkin launch, paint a pumpkin, navigate a hay maze, make mud pies, and enjoy a hayride in the brilliance of Bernheim’s colorful landscape. AND new this year – a rock wall to challenge your climbing skills.
Other highlights include live music, hands-on nature activities, unique local foods, and Kentucky art and craft vendors. ColorFest is from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. This year’s festivities will be located throughout the Visitor Center, Edible Garden and Education Center.
There is no cost for members to attend, but non-members are required to pay $10 per car at the gate. While most ColorFest activities are free, a select few have a small fee (Pumpkins to launch or to paint are $3 each, Hay Rides are $2, Rope Bridge is $1, which supports the Boy Scouts).
ColorFest will also kick off our fall membership drive. Join for the first time or renew your membership at ColorFest and get $5 off for any membership family level ($53, including tax) and above. Refer friends and win prizes.
