TREE-RIFIC SPRING BREAK WEEK

MONDAY, APRIL 4 – FRIDAY, APRIL 8

In conjunction with the Vanishing Acts: Trees Under Threat exhibit, Bernheim will offer a week of daily drop-in activities and guided programs to celebrate trees and the forest ecosystem. Self-guided activities for exploring the exhibit and learning about trees will also be available.

  • DISCOVERY STATIONS:  11 A.M. – 3 P.M.
Hands-on Discovery Stations, featuring a variety of plant, animal, and nature activities will be offered daily at the Visitor Center by Bernheim educators.
  • FIRE TOWER TOURS: 11 A.M. – 3 P.M.
Join a Bernheim educator to discover the forest from a bird’s-eye-view atop the historic Fire Tower.
  • GUIDED NATURE HIKE: 2 – 3 P.M.
Each afternoon, Bernheim educators will lead a guided hike beneath the budding forest canopy. Children of all ages are welcome to join, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
