ECO Kids Discovery Days

The E-C-O stands for Every Child Outside, and that’s exactly where kids can be found during ECO Kids Discovery Days!

ECO Kids Discovery Days take place the first and third Saturday of each month at Bernheim’s Visitor Center. To encourage children and their families to learn more about nature and play outside, each ECO Kids Discovery Day includes:

  • Discovery Stations, featuring a variety of ecological wonders brought to life by our Volunteer Naturalists, at the Visitor Center between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.
  • On Your Own Challenge, featuring a self-guided adventure on Bernheim grounds, available at the Visitor Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Themes, stations, and challenges change throughout the year to reflect nature’s seasonal changes.  ECO Kids Discovery Days for 2013:
