Bernheim’s annual celebration of spring will also include local artisans, food vendors, a farmers market, musical entertainment, a series of short garden lectures, and tons of great activities for children including arts, crafts, garden faerie house construction and naturalist-led discovery stations. Family Fishing Days

In the spirit of the KY Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Free Fishing Days, Bernheim’s Cedar Pond and Holly Pond are open for fishing. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day of family fun.  During June 1 and 2, no license is required to fish. Regular $5 environmental impact fee applies at front gate for Non-members.

CONNECT

Now in its seventh year, CONNECT at Bernheim again will challenge minds and delight the senses. Artists will set up around Lake Nevin with funky, fun and spontaneous art displays and demonstrations for the third year. This year’s art demonstrations include participants in CONNECTglow, a sculpture challenge in which participants create light sculptures without the use of a generator or AC power. This  juried process will award the the top entrant  $1,000 and $500 for the second prize.
