Rentals

Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest was established in 1929 when Louisville philanthropist and distiller Isaac W. Bernheim purchased this property as a most generous and visionary gift to the people of Kentucky. The property was opened to the public in 1951 and since that time millions of visitors have enjoyed Bernheim’s renowned arboretum, forest preserve, visitor center, picnic areas, hiking trails and lakes. Bernheim provides a serene and beautiful setting for business and educational meetings. Corporations and non-profit organizations are invited to use the facility for daylong retreats or meetings. For more information on specific sites please see the listing below or contact Regina with any questions.

Isaac W. Bernheim stated that “No distinction will be shown between rich or poor, white or colored. Every respectable man, woman, and child will be made welcome, and all will be treated with an equal consideration.” We ask that you honor his wishes in both your speech and actions.
