Tree-Eats Along the Trail

Join Wren Smith, Bernheim Interpretive Programs Manager for an engaging forest foray. Although we will focus on trees that provide food and beverages for humans, we will also explore lesser known uses of trees in our area. Dress for the outdoors. Full “Frog” Moon Hike

Full Moon Hikes provide ample opportunities to celebrate the heavens and the earth. Join us as we marvel at the moon, ponder distant planets, and explore creatures and features beneath on our portion of planet Earth. Poet-Tree Writing Workshop

Kentucky poet, folklorist, and naturalist Sarah McCartt-Jackson has been published by and received honors from the Academy of American Poets, Kentucky Arts Council, Kentucky Foundation for Women, Copper Nickel, The Fourth River, Indiana Review, Journal of American Folklore, Still, and others. Volunteer Orientation
