Home of the Innocents invites you to come out to beautiful Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest on Saturday, October 25, 2014, for the annual 10K run – 5K run/walk. Pollywog Play Parties: Catching the Wind

Catch the crisp autumn breeze! Pollywogs discover the magic of wind and experiment with air properties through fun activities like blow art, balloon play, cloud racing, and much more. ECO Kids Pollywog Play Parties combine music, art, language, and outside play to encourage infants and children though the age of 5 to learn about nature. Today’s Discovery Day includes: On Your Own Challenge, available in the Visitor Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Discovery Stations are at the Visitor Center from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Hike of the Day led by a Bernheim guide, starts at the Visitor Center at 2:00 p.m. and runs 45 – 60 minutes.

Observe the evening sights and sounds of summer with Bernheim’s knowledgeable and engaging Volunteer Naturalists. Star Stories happen rain or shine. In cooperation with the Louisville Astronomical Society. No pets please.
