Bernheim’s Hubbuch Holly Collection is one of the world’s largest American holly collections. Explore this regional gem with Volunteer Naturalist Corinne Mastey. Amidst the beauty, Corinne will reveal some of the delightful legends, lore and a whole lot more, hidden among the Bernheim hollies. Dress for the weather and be prepared for off-trail walking. ECO Kids Discovery Day: Nature Ornament Making

Smart Gardens and Landscapes: Wreaths and Holiday Decorating with Nature

Decorating for the holidays can be fun, easy, and extremely inexpensive when you use found objects in nature. Pollywog Play Parties: Pollywogs Keeping Cozy

Brrr! How do people and animals keep warm during the cold months of winter? Pollywogs explore concepts of hibernation and staying active by feeding birds, curling up in the play cave, building nests and burrows, and more. Observe the evening sights and sounds of summer with Bernheim’s knowledgeable and engaging Volunteer Naturalists. Summer Star Stories happen rain or shine. In cooperation with the Louisville Astronomical Society. No pets please.
