Pollywog Play Parties: Recycle Extravaganza

Recycling is much more than sorting paper and cans! Pollywogs will add creative fun to the recycling process by making instruments, building with boxes, bowling with recyclables, and much more. Pollywog Play Parties combine music, art, language, and outside play to encourage children 5 and under to learn about nature. Family Backyard Beekeeping Series

Join Bernheim Volunteer Beekeepers for Family Backyard Beekeeping, a six-part series that will introduce participants to the basics of bees and beekeeping. During the second Sunday of each month from February to July, families will collectively build a hive, install a buzzing ball of honeybees, inspect the hive, and (hopefully!) harvest honey. Smart Gardens & Landscapes: Planning Your Edible Ornamental Garden

Growing food is fun and rewarding. February is the month you want to plan your garden and start seeds of cool season vegetable plants indoors.
