Family Backyard Beekeeping Series

Join Bernheim Volunteer Beekeepers for Family Backyard Beekeeping, a six-part series that will introduce participants to the basics of bees and beekeeping. During the second Sunday of each month from February to July, families will collectively build a hive, install a buzzing ball of honeybees, inspect the hive, and (hopefully!) harvest honey. Because the hive will be placed in the Edible Garden, families will be able to visit the honeybees they help raise. This series is held every second Sunday…

Smart Gardens & Landscapes: Planning the Fall Garden

July is the perfect month to start planning and planting your fall garden. Extend the life of your edible landscape by planting cool-season crops! Volunteer Orientation

Connect with People. Connect with Nature. Volunteer at Bernheim. Volunteers can give a few hours or several hundred hours, providing support to Bernheim and our visitors.
