Guided Walk 9:00-10:00 a.m. The walk features hands-on identification of birds in a variety of habitats like woodland, field, wetland and pond. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. Beginners welcome.
Lecture Presentation 10:00-10:30 a.m. The audiovisual program about common breeding birds will help you identify birds by sight and sound and will also review preferred habitats and how to attract each species to your yard.
Ages five and up. Guided walk is limited to 20 participants. Sign up in advance by calling (502) 955-8512, or register the day of the program.
